You know what would be cool? If MA's Flames counted as a debuff too :D
It's worse than many punishments and you even have to pay for it. If having heavy fireballs counts as that, so should this.

I like to use the Cauldron on Transmuters since they can get a really high amount of potions, and it works nicely on Tinkers too thanks to their numerous scrolls, so lugging around an RBS or bought Platemail is less problematic.

While we're at it there are 2 things that could boost the usefulness of NC. First, the boost should apply to both refills on Thiefs (so the secondary effect is half as strong as the primary). Second, when poisoned/manabuned the potion boost should apply before these effects are removed with health/mana potions.

It's sad you can't use the Avatar's Codex and NC together. Would make for a fun Thief combo.

^ +100 to all. I'm having a lot of fun with Mystera Gnome Transmuters. Oddly enough it's a... Lemisi build o.O

And yeah, we could use a few more debuffs in the standard set, even if they're sneaky like that Flames suggestion ^^

Also, I must've mentioned the Thief and NC more than anything else. I do remember ye olde hideously brokene Thiefe with potions restoring both things equally, but I would also love the Cauldron working with them the intuitive way. The cauldron brought back Cydstepp Rogue, might as well let it bring back the Potion Jesus Theif.

And yeah, it's not that it's terrible, but it does often seem like it would've made a better niche shop item. Still, with a sneaky debuff or two in the core set and Thieves working right, it's a heckuva prep.

Just realized another thing bothering me: Witchalok Pendant and Amulet of Yendor have the same icon. It's not such a big deal in the inventory are Yendor is not something you normally Compress, but still, in the small icon format (locker/loot/score) it kind of confuses.

They have slightly different colors, but yeah I'd like it more if they were less similar.
The worst is though that Transmutation Scrolls, the Alchemist Scroll and the Ritual Scroll all look nearly the same as well.
Why can't the AS be yellow or somewhat golden, and the RS dark purple? Thanks god the Mass09 ledger isn't blue too.

Outstanding Palette Swaps. I missed the alchemist's scroll at the time (I don't usually compress it)

Draining Blade and Vampiric Blade. I get the idea that they're supposed to be simmilar and Draining Blade being more of a joke/trap for inattentive people who think they've stumbled upon a Vampiric Blade and getting themselves all messed up, but still - most identical looking items and undistinct pallete swaps (and also distinct pallete swaps in many cases) just cause undue confusion and give this unsatisfying unfinished/unpolished feel. Seals being color coded is fine I guess, most other stuff not so much.

+1 to witchalok / yendor, too, definitely.

LEMISI(?) can be very devastating, since it woks on the main dungeon too...
