Yeah, fun little run today. Dragon heart and Dwarven Gauntlets is pretty obscene, especially when combined with Binlor... I always enjoy face-tanking bleaty :)

Bleaty with Namtar's Ward as a prep and GETINDARE in the glyph pool. Another walk in the park. As the leaderboard failed to take my time again I'm reporting in this thread: March 15th time was 4:19

And if you took Bearmace and Binlor, thanks to the sub you could hit 100% KB. On a map with 2 swords.

Too bad I was lagging horribly today, sometimes experiencing 2-5 second delays between clicks and their results!
I killed Bleaty by lvl5 without Getindare and only using 1 DP, but since I assumed I was doing badly on time I didn't leave, but starterd slaying everything and piety farming, even maxing out sanguine which greatly extended my time.

So I was very surprised by the victory screen:

Weirdly, the leader boards registered 23 minutes for me.

I was totally slow and uninspired today. Had a rough night, and I'm barely able to keep my head up. Anyway, I went with Conjunction (couldn't make up my mind which deity to pick) / Dragon Heart (I love how stuff like this is available in the Dailies) / Elite Items (great with transloc. scroll) / Namtar's Ward (great fool-proof misclick protection for the morning afters  ). There were so many deities I could imagine working awesomely with this setup, I just couldn't make up my mind. I was like, Dracul is a powerhouse piety farm, but I overplayed him recently. Binlor was like, meh, no-brainer. Then I found Earthmother, and I was like, no, I would need to think, that's suicide, if there's one Barbing Bush on the map I'm sure to click it. Then came Mystera, and I was like, wow, that's so cool, maybe I'll just kill a few magical monsters, and jump into her!

Anyway, I killed something, then something else, then it kept piling up, and then I realized I basically killed everything kill-worthy, including the boss, without even picking up BURNDAYRAZ or choosing my deity. Shame, really, I could have gone wild on this map with all sorts of piety-farming, altar-switchin', boon-juggling shennanigans. So basically I cleaned up and then stayed Faithless. Would have been an awesome badgemonger run though :) As it stands, I didn't use my race either (I did convert stuff to free up inventory space, but I didn't do anything with the dozen or so potions I ended up with.)

And yes I'm again slow, half the time I was just gazing towards the general direction of my screen, trying to remember what was I doing?

I took the scenic route and went slow on this one. I bet someone will do it in under 3 minutes or something. Like, well under 3 minutes.

The glyph loadout isn't particularly favorable for the Gnome here. Still very easy; I got it in 5 minutes while going for Parched

Well, today's daily made me realize something: the Thief's potions make the class an incredible B2P caster :D

Not much to mention here, just for fun I klled the boss exclusively by alternating WEYTWUT with BURNDAYRAZ (with the exception of the first stab). And then the usual Tikki Tooki gold-farming mop up. No clue if it actually affects the Kingdom gold (doesn't seem like it) and it's not like I need the gold, just an old habit.

Also, being able to prep more than one altar is going to allow some ridiculous combos down the line...

Kind of got a flashback to what caused me a lot of accidental deaths when I first started playing the full release. Gnome thief with B2P and mystera, nice nice, I might as well take the boss down at level 3 or 4-- oh right, he's got retaliate:fireball.

Today's challenge (Gnome Thief on Eastern Tundra) was a true gem! I really enjoyed it, awesome synergy between the race and class, and I finally had my strat laid out at the prep screen (Mystera + Mana Boosters + Elite Items + Fireball Magnet).

Went crazy nuking the highest level guy I could, so in the end I had a whole bufet of popcorn enough for 2 extra mid-fight level ups against the boss on top of Yendor. I went classic WEYTWUT + BURNDAYRAZ combo, and the Count went down like a glass of chilled beer. The subs were awesome, glyphs were awesome, shop items were awesome, it was a real treat! :)

Btw I tried to watch the time this time around (nothing fancy, just tried not to stare blankly for too long at a time), and the recorded time was much longer than what the victory screen showed. My vic screen time was something like 17 minutes, and my recorded one is 22. I did not stare at the victory screen, I just clicked past it, so somehow extra 5 minutes happened somewhere. Unless I was abducted by aliens, I suspect that the time spent between clicking "Commence" and finishing is all counted, including the time spend picking preps. Which was a no-brainer, I just left the computer running to get a drink (it's saint Patrick's day after all, and though as far as I can tell I'm not myself Irish, I'm culturally sensitive like that :) ).
