@kravac: Cool, thanks! I don't have high hopes for today's run but will try my best.

After reading here, I took it very slow and have won in the end, faithless and with many bloodpools still available. It probably helped that I played some cursed oasis runs in the not so distant past.

How do you do this in 8 minutes without any preps?

Ugh >_<

Played that so horribly I just don't want to talk about it. Was literally 1 point of damage away from killing him too, and couldn't manage another hit. I mismanaged my funds and couldn't afford platemail, wasted my apothecary against the wraith boss which I didn't need to, didn't make room for CYDSTEPP to precast it once, didn't wear down animated armors to use as bloodcows for the boss... heck even just activating my potions a bit more efficiently for 1 extra point of damage; any one of these things would have won me the game. Didn't help that I kept getting unlucky with the Shade reveals, but you just gotta presume that on Cursed Oasis.

Should have had this one in the bag, but I played it like an utter dog >_<

Those quick no prep runs of the Vampire CO daily seem unreal. If it's not a glitch or something like that, maybe it involved fighting dragon without doing the shade boss?
Less popcorn is needed since IMAWAL does the job with any kind of enemy.

Anyway...

Dwarf Chemist, Havendale Bridge

There's a JJ prep. It's like an on/off switch for easy/hard Chemist difficulty. I'd probably have some serious issues without it.

As usual, unimpressed by the Dwarf. At least it's not Halfling or Gnome.

This was so ugly. I won, but it's the worst I've played in some time. Most of that was due to a total lack of familiarity with the Chemist, but Earthmother being incredibly moody didn't help - she just kept spawning plants in the little corridor leading to her altar, and I wound up getting punished 3 times. Nevertheless, corroding enemies + health mode's regen-fighting power won the day.

I agree about JJ. Mana potions allow for very fast early piety gain, and any remaining potions that would be mostly useless later on can be converted into bigger bars for spiking enemies. BYSSEPS gives piety for JJ too. I leveled up twice against each boss which brought them down easily.

For Vampire Cursed Oasis, I overslept and only had 30 minutes before I had to go do something else. I very easily may have lost anyway. Vampire Cursed Oasis is pretty lousy (your best Lifesteal targets live in the cursed realm, so good luck milking defensive synergy with that). I would've needed an hour or more just to maybe have a 50-50 shot of puzzling this one out. Vampire is one of my worst classes as it is.

That was dicier than it probably should have been. It didn't help that Weytwhut failed 5 or 6 times in a row against the troll so I had to use up popcorn early.

I tried to use health form against the meat man, but I'm not sure how much it really helped. I love mana form but I feel like health form is mediocre. I suppose if you are stacking resists it is good but I usually don't do that on a chemist. I was almost out of available black space at the end, but I could have desecrated TT for enough piety for refreshment and a few more fireballs.
