heh. fucked up by trying to popcorn a gorgon.

i don't really know if i was going to win though, i didn't really have a plan for fighting the bosses. would pisorf-spamming the two against each other have enough sustain after level 6 to put them in range of finishing off via normal attack? both of them would have hit harder than i had health for and i don't know if i had enough health in bloodpools around the map to make it work

* Halfling Tinker in The Slime Pit *

Ok, what can I say about this, Hafling trait will save your a*s today, :P Not sure what the default gods are (prepped Conjunction) but I was pretty "undecided" between starting with Binlor, EM or GG (love them all except for Taurog, :P). Made my mind and went Binlor first for the bonus KB damage and Might (I think EM would have given higher XP today, maybe ...).

[Hmm, I thought I had converted off all my inventory items except beads before exiting, why is there a Health Potion left?]

Currently top in XP, Piety and TIme (from the back, well I did spent a bit of time logging down spoilers as I slowly uncovered the map looking for all of the altars, they were spread all around, :P). Since I used up almost all blackspace farming Binlor piety, I did have to "think" a bit on how to use the gods to clear the map. So, I went Binlor -> GG -> Taurog -> EM -> GG. Killed the bosses in an unconventional way: Weytwuted Goo next to SMM, spammed Green Blood with EM, used up my Health Potions while smacking SMM against Goo (used Taurog's Armour and Tower Shield, so I didn't have to buy Whupaz).

Ok, so the spoilers below (Disclaimer: I think even prepping things like Conjunction can affect the positions of shops, so positions might differ for you if you have different preps):

binlor doesn't show up if you don't take conjunction, sticky stick's position appears to be entirely random

Having seen the spoilers, I tested what's gonna happen if I prep both Binlor and Conjunction (as I puzzled together from the previous spoilers that Binlor is the Conjunction altar). Since I got the same altars as just with Conjunction, it suggests that Conjunction just puts back the removed altar if it would add an altar that was already added via preps.

Anyway, it was lots of fun, I was overly stubborn on doing the usual kill-chain, even if it meant basically converting everything and desecrating everyone! With hindsight, keeping one of the slow glyphs, or Earthmother's altar, would've been better in the long run, as I ended up killing all the L2+ unslowed. Or, finding a Pendant of Mana in store would've eased my aches considerably, because even with an early beadless Enlightenment, I had only 19 mana, so each level I either wasted 3 (or had to take Protection just to finish the current mob). Also, my TriSword went haywire and kept accumulating CP, so when I converted it in the end, it had over 60 CP.

I took 9 Protections, and had 23 Corrosion stacks on me at the end (I did use a couple of Cleansings to remove some of them before leaving, I mean Halflings are not *that* filthy!).

Halfling Paladin in Southern Swamp

A rather relaxing daily, considering Soul Orb is prepable and HALPMEH makes poison irrelevant. Just remember that Paladins can only worship one deity. :)
