I think people get tripped up because the Chemist doesn't have the safety net of potions for its end-game. It's a pitfall to beware of, and means you need to be on the lookout for any "instant benefit" items or deities you can find to give you that safe end-game.

Using Taurog to declog is something I've actually done before. No intention of actually worshipping the guy, but that "penalty" for prepping him can be very handy in the right situations.

Yeah, I don't get the difficulty with yesterday's dungeon. Yeah, it's Cursed Oasis, but the setup is so generous that you can throw all your resources at the main boss and he just crumples if you do that.

Speaking of generous, today's is a freebee:

Orc Monk in Den of Danger
ENDISWAL and the secret subdungeon containing Glenrick are both right next to the dungeon entrance. HALPMEH spawns in as a glyph, and the boss is Jormungandr. A Fine Sword is available for purchase near the dungeon entrance if a free Glenrick isn't enough of a momentum boost for you.

I've been on a road trip the last few days so decided to play a bit differently than usual. Today with the deities it was apparent I can make a low level kill. It's nowhere Tinker's level but I'd like to think three kills in total is a pretty good run.

Took a look at new daily, * Dwarf Bloodmage in Cursed Oasis *, again? Same character as the one I missed last Friday. Preps look excellent though, there's

Slot 1: Taurog (Does cowardly stop blinking?)/Fireball Magnet/Conjunction,
Slot 2: Extra Mana Boosters/Bearmace/JJ,
Slot 3: Extra Glyphs/Gloves of Midas,
Slot 4: and Fine Sword/Soul Orb/Pendant of Mana.

Shouldn't be that bad,
