Right, so Gnome Fighter on Hex - Great Combo for Pissorf, Great Map in theory for Pissorff, great gods for Pissorff (with conjunction) - TERRIBLE LAYOUT FOR PISSORFF. Doable, but I chose not to, I just pissorffed the Iron Man to level up and fireballed Shteno through her 50% reistance (Had plenty of refreshment, potions and even a crafty ding left).

Just a heads up - it's possible to PoS both bossess in this daily but it takes way more effort than usual.

Hummed and hawed over going with the Mystera Mage Plate combo that presented itself, but decided to go with the Dragon Shield and Bloody Sigil instead for some early power-leveling. Found Mystera and BURNDAYRAZ within a few steps of the dungeon entrance and Elven Boots in the shop pool, so I pretty much got to have my cake and eat it

With HALPMEH in play, the dungeon's normal trickiness was completely negated. Very smooth run, and one of the few times finding the boss at the end of exploration doesn't matter.

Yikes, that map. Gnome Mage Mystera may be nice in theory, but I don't like Gnomes. I had a half dozen minions still alive when I started on Stheno, but that wasn't a big deal. I was sort of low on Piety but I hadn't gotten Refreshment yet, whoops. I think I overcapped a little bit mid-game before I noticed that I really needed to lower the MR on the golem boss. But with two pops on that, I had a really hard time getting up to 30 again, and blackspace was running out and I was killing magicals. Eventually I got up to 30, got a third MR removal boon, and used Pactmaker: Consensus for Refreshment.

Gnomes don't really like "kill everything on the map" scenarios, do they? Isn't that more of a Human or Orc thing? I guess it's my fault for going Mageplate and Flames and all...

It felt sort of like a close call, but I had two health potions and three mana potions left, as well as the initial death protection.

This would be a horrible map for Rat Monarch...

For the record, I normally play dailies before sleep when they change at 1 am for me, when my brain still thinks I'm in the previous day. I just refer to them by the "official" date.

Yeah, today's run was a little rough, I can't go for my usual very minimal boss takedowns against Stheno, and I only made the run more difficult than it had to be by going Mystera/mage plate, even though I knew dragon shield was the safer option by far. TIM was just about the worst boss I could get on that setup, thank god for HALPMEH. Still burnt through all my health pots, all the mana pots from the ground and a schadenfreude taking him down, and that's after a ding, used my natural dp to finish him. My biggest slip up was being punished by Mystera early on, thankfully I was powerful enough to just brute force my way through the resists. Once it came to Stheno, I swept up the popcorn, got up to lvl 8, bought a mana pendant + elven boots, took refreshment, and just went for a hard mana spike, had to make some hasty last minute conversions to get him down, then got him with a dp I set up from CYDSTEPP earlier. I think that was the poorest I've been resource wise at the end of a succesful daily.

Should have picked up the bm ring in the shop as well, I wasn't really using my translocation scroll, then picking up flames as well would have probably made Stheno a lot easier.

Slowslowslow. Probably 9 of those 18 minutes spent trying to work out the best way to do the Vegan Vampire dungeon. Prepped TT and switched into him off MA late-game. Fighters real good. Gnomes real good. Got Parched.

Rat would excel at Hex in my opinion, after all his main form of damage comes from corrosion and that ignores all sorts of resistances. Funnily the Rat even has a counter for poor Stehno's deathgaze, buying any item will put you over the 50% threshold.
