17/05/2015 - Halfling Tinker in Rock Garden
Tinker is always fun and really awesome! (Also the daily today was quite enjoyable... 8-) ) I went Mystera and enjoyed the lots of health restorations afforded by the health potions, that made quick work of the magic resistant foes and boss; and the caster items and Mystera boons that ensured big mana pool and lots of mana restoration. There was no need to work on resist stripping (even though multiple avenues were presented for it). It was a surprise to see a random boss other than Bleaty or Frank! ;)

Picked up Hoarder. Really nice little run, if on the slow side (about 12 mins) but I'm super-paranoid after yesterday.

Died to a tasty misclick. Well, no real streak to speak of there, so no big loss I guess.

First Purist DERP win due to a misclick. It's a good thing I LIKE Dwarf Sorcerer... I paid the troll, as LEMISI gave me vision of WEYTWUT three steps behind... Oh well, I'll burn him next time.

Daily 17-05-2015 Dwarf Sorcerer on Havensdale Bridge

Converted to JJ, despite his late appearance, just for Chaos Avatar. Never needed it, just blasted my way through both bosses effortlessly with nothing more than a mid-level ding and Fire Heart activation for each. A nice and easy run.

For the first time I brought slayer wand to havendale bridge (even tho, I have rainbowed it twice, I have never acctualy done this). Figured I could use that to get past the troll early. Big Mistake.
Edit: Turns out this was less of a misstake than I thought, I posted this a bit too early. The mistake did cost me some exp and 20 gold tho.

The troll dies, but a new troll spawns on top of him, which is level 10 insted of level 5. The level 10 troll is pacifist, so you can pay him, or fight him.
I tried doing this again, turns out you acctualy get the exp from the level 5 troll, and the sensation stone. However you probary can't defeat the level 10 troll, so it costs you 20 gold.

It's a funny little quirk, and I'm sure every time it comes up there are people who are being caught by it. The Toll Troll is yet another level fixture that JJ offers a reliable way of bypassing, since he's only got a 50% magic resistance WEYTWUT is still mostly effectively at moving him out of the way. Today, however, JJ spawned on the other side of the chasm so he couldn't help with that.

I think one of the funniest, if not necessarily most effective, strategies I've ever seen is one where you take a GG Goblin Transmuter and absolve the Troll off the Bridge. No clue if that works with how the dialogue's structured now.

Anyway, for today I accidentally went in Purist so I decided to just pick up as many badges as I could instead of getting fancy with time. In rough order of challenge: Faithless, Purist, Parched, Miser, Unstoppable, Ding Max, Cheeky. I could possibly have added Specialist to that lot.

Imawal was a great glyph find.
