I've just discovered that I have somewhat underestimated humans. Human Wizards with Whurgarbl are a blast!

I still think Orcs are better though.

Haha, I always knew Humans were still a good "standard" as a baseline.

Nothing beats the power of math skill.

Humans usually win out by level 10, where every conversion is 5 damage, unless orcs stack enough % and points.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

This should probably go in bug reports, but who reads that thread? :)

Right now, if you have one critter burning, and you set another critter on fire (be it via spell or Whurgarrbl), the original critter will take burning damage before it extinguishes itself. Doesn't seem intentional, as it gives you a weird sort of free hit if you work it right (lots of burning damage on something you can't quite kill, go burn something else and it dies).

Sure enough, I'm an idiot. Didn't really get what that meant until I saw it happen.

Hey, I like a bunch of stuff here, but has anyone seen the new Wraith?

Nerfing him a bit came up in a discussion in speedballs "thoughts on game" thread, and I really wanted that to happen, so I'm curious what the devs did.

Also, the old dwarves were quite good (not OP in any way) but had 2 problems - big hassle regennign all that health, and very few thing sinergizing with high HP (which ment having it became pointless/a chore at some point). Having BOTH a fixed HP and damage reduction (ala Earthmother boon) might do the trick and make them viable. I'd also suggest tweaking an item or two to reward large health pools.

A Fighter buff! Yay! I LOVED how playing fighter forced me to be focused and netted great and rewarding results before. I WOULD love to see him megabuffed for one version only, just to try out having him start with WONNAFYT glyph. With insane leveling ablility he'd be a great "string of freebies" class as he could get mileage out of all the later unlocks like cydstep and just level up. (WONAFYT'd have to be fixed to never latch onto an allready slowed enemy).

Tons of stuff to check out, I feel very happy :)
