If we click we accidentally refresh the page and lose our game.

I'm all for this. I often find the tooltip staying on the gamescreen because I accidently went over the link with my mouse and it won't go away until go up there again.

How do you click that link accidentally? It's completely outside the game window... Surely any other links on that page carry the same hazard?

Laptop touchpads, same reason there have been "suicide confirmation dialog" requests.

It's just above the game window. Moving fast with a notebook touchpad and cleaning up low levels at the top left of the screen. Misclicked because I wasn't paying much attention. Only happened once, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

If having the link there served any purpose I might just accept it and deal with it. Does it have any purpose that I'm not seeing?

Perhaps just open the game in its own tab without any trappings around it?
