Desktop Dungeons Test Build

Hi everyone!

We're still travelling (GDC may be over, but we're not back in South Africa just yet) and even though the office is pretty-much on the other side of the world, we'd like to do some stress- and balance-testing on some of the things we've been working on to go along with the mobile launch.

So, please click here to play a SUPER SECRET TEST BUILD of Desktop Dungeons and let us know just how weird the Chemist is. Oh, and you should probably see if Dailies work for you too ;)

Please report bugs in this thread, not the usual bug thread! This is where we'll keep checking while we update this build.

Yes, we know the settings menu is weird. It's missing a bunch of graphics that will be updated eventually before the mobile release.

Minor Bug: description for Chemist says "BYSEPS" instead of "BYSSEPS".

Sharing button on score screen is odd. Starts transparent but then when clicked it puts up the choice interface and it's not intuitive to get out from that :)

I love the new deity interaction interface. I do not like the combat selector, the old system's benefit (one click options) is lost with needing 2 clicks for everything, plus I misclicked myself several times due to how the pull-in thingy keeps moving.

Dungeon border colors seem to have been reset to uniform black.

It got my preps all wrong at the overall leaderboards. They were Taurog, Extra Health, Transmutation Seal and Patches I think (Or is there 5 preps to choose from?)

Chemist looks cool, always thought there's room for a Bycepss class. Have to play around with him a bit.

Anyone found anything else that's new?

For the challenge, the potion shop seems to host full list of potions (including the 3 normally only available as preps). I could imagine, that to preserve balance, for the challenge, what has been unlocked in the regular course of the game is ignored when populating shops etc. "scaling up" resources as some games do for PvP.

If you drink another potion it resets. I deliberately drank a Burn Salve and the form was gone.

Based on initial impression Chemist will not be optimal with potion races, but more with bar boosting races. Great for piety farming (I ran into JJ on my first run).

BYSSEPS' cost is wrong if you take MB. It should be 4,5,6,14,30...
But its skips 4, and goes like 5,6,14,30...

Oh and stacking might only gives bonus attack%, but no extra resistance stripping. Is that intentional?

The piety tab just disappeared. Nvm, found it in the piety counter. Neat!)
