Can't find my gold

I had 409 gold. I won two dungeon rounds and picked up over 100 gold but it didn't add to my Kingdom Gold total. Unfortunately I don't have screen shots. Is there somewhere else I should be looking? Thanks.

You need to upgrade the bank before you can acquire more gold, I think. There should be quests which let you do that. You might also be able to spend some of it on kingdom upgrades to go down below your current total.

OK, thanks for the info. I just spent some on another upgrade so I will keep an eye on it.

If the gold amount you have is shown in Red, it means it's currently capped and you cannot earny any more gold.
If it is shown normally in black, you can earn gold normally, even if it brings you above the cap (though then it will turn red and you need to spend some or upgrade the bank to be able to keep earning).
