Speedruns!

Step right up, step right up! If it's worth doing, it's worth doing fast - I'm sure in your expansive collections of postgame screenshots there's some with impressive times :D

Whether it's a 5-minute victory on Goatperson Purist VT VGT or 10 on Doubledoom because you got pitted against SMM/Frank, anything's good!

Definitely post here, but because things could get pretty disorganised here, I procured a spot on Speedrun.com as a possible leaderboard; I'll only be able to keep on top of the fastest times here.
If you want to get anything on Speedrun.com, though, you have to go through it's system:
(free account needed - can submit at http://www.speedrun.com/Desktop_Dungeon ... s_Hold#Any with either a video link, or postgame screenshot in the same slot)
times can be viewed from there at http://www.speedrun.com/Desktop_Dungeon ... ual_levels

The cool thing about doing this is that it can list and compare the times with all the race/class combinations, so submit already, wouldya? We could see the best times and strategies with every combination!

I've done Any% too (because nobody else is crazy enough to), in 2:05:18: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkCcpF2EV8A

Hobbler's Hold (the hardest level - that's why it's at the top!)
1. Spleen - Goblin Assassin - 0:28
2. Lynzkar - Goblin Sorcerer - 0:46
...
9996. Lynzkar - Gnome Thief - 9:41
9997. Spleen - Halfling Paladin - 80:33
9998. Lynzkar - ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Tinker - 837:22
9999. Lynzkar - Serioustime Thief - 15533:43

Den of Danger
1. Spleen - Goblin Assassin - 0:54

Venture Cave
1. Spleen - Goblin Assassin - 0:55

Doubledoom

Grimm's Grotto
1. Spleen - Goblin Assassin - 1:06

Western Jungle
1. Spleen - Orc Berserker - 1:37

Havendale Bridge

Magma Mines

The Labyrinth

Dragon Isles
1. Spleen - Goblin Assassin - 3:44

Northern Desert
1. Spleen - Gnome Wizard - 1:34

Rock Garden

Cursed Oasis
1. Spleen - Orc rogue - 1:57

Shifting Passages

Demonic Library
1. Spleen - Gnome Bloodmage - 5:42

Eastern Tundra
1. Lynzkar - Orc Rogue - 1:25

Creeplight Ruins

Berserker Camp

Halls of Steel
1. Zayyeh - Orc Berserker - 2:04

Vicious Steel
1. Spleen - Orc Berserker - 2:40

Namtar's Lair
1. Spleen - Gnome Wizard - 8:21

Southern Swamp
1. Spleen - Goblin Assassin - 1:11

Hexx Ruins

The Slime Pit

Ick Swamp

Naga City
1. Spleen - Orc Rogue - 10:35

Tower of Gaan-Telet

Vicious Gaan-Telet
1. Spleen - Human Paladin - 9:17
2. dusty - Human Paladin - 9:39
3. ~'(^ + ^)'~ - 15:52
4. devilchn - 20:30
5. The Tapir - 27:29

I was thinking that Regular/Purist/Vicious Token would all be counted separately because of how much each affects gameplay - anybody have thoughts on this?
I was also thinking that a circuit-like thing of all the Normal, Hard, or Vicious dungeons could also be a cool thing because that could mitigate the luck factor - again, any thoughts, anybody?

Could probary have gone faster, 2:03 in Eastern Tundra

Nevermind i did it faster. 1:43

Sick run in Hobbler's Hold, Unstoppable & under 10 minutes! (9:41) [SPOILERS] ((0:46))

(Turns out hobbler's hold was my last (non VGT) dungeon left with thief, so all dungeons ('cept VGT) finished with theif now)

That was a... shockingly fast reply. I like it! :D
I've found Tikki Tooki Orc Rogue very fast for the single-boss dungeons because health doesn't matter when ya can't get hit!

Edit: Here are my runs so far, only got video - will take screenshots from now on:
Demonic Library - Gnome Bloodmage - 5:42 - https://youtu.be/tZkALfvtlEE
Vicious Steel - Orc Berserker - 2:40 - https://youtu.be/-kVscsQV87U
Dragon Isles - Goblin Assassin - 3:44 - https://youtu.be/i_HRbjEuCLQ
Naga City - Orc Rogue - 10:35 - https://youtu.be/fggyXsoa610
Cursed Oasis - Orc Rogue - 1:57 - https://youtu.be/7sZt2Z94_iw
Namtar's Lair - Gnome Wizard - 8:21 - https://youtu.be/ogWwoXiOWd4

Gotta speedreply in the speedrun thread you know, I'll update my post above if I decided to do some more fast runs, I can't record them unforturnatley, so you will just have to take my word for it.

Oh, yeah, sure - I hadn't even considered how easily screenshots could be doctored. But as long as nobody's sending out 3-second wins I think it's all fair game :D

Also, I highly recommend FFSplit for easy video capture - I could run it and most intensive games with just a Nvidia GeForce GT 640 on Win7; it works well on pretty much any system.

Hey, y'know... I am awesome :P

So, Lynzkar, you want me to clock that 9:41, right? I should just close the thread right now, I mean, nobody could ever get better than that! :D

Edit: Oh man I just had the best Hobbler's Hold run you guys won't believe it
