Wow, lots of contestants today! Finally I'm not dead last on time! (still not too shabby on xp and piety though  )

I think today's daily was nice and all things considered even synergistic. I went GG, and betwen conversions and Enlightenment I ended with 3 Fireballs, I assume folks going with Mystera could squeeze 4. Casting was useful because it pops DPs faster than melee, not to mention that Illusions have physical resist so they're easier to kill via spells despite the Retaliate. Killed bosses at L6 and L8 respectively. Funny thing is how just before doing the daily I did a PQI on Vicious Steel, so I was really surprised when I found the Orb... Then I was like, hey, stupid, this is Halls of Steel, not Vicious Steel! :) Good thing too, I wasn't in the mood to grind through Blahblah's endless Health a second time in a row. :geek:

**Almost** got it Hoarder/Parched without going to Dracul. Ended up giving up Hoarder. Not often you use HALPMEH with a Warlord, but against Super Meat Man it works better than CYDSTEPP.

Goblin is not my favourite Warlord. Warlord can benefit from many things, given how he easily turns mana into melee, so an Elf or Gnome warlord is just as viable as an Orc or Human warlord. Dwarf, Goblin and Halfling are the less optimal builds, though I think I'd sooner play either health race than Goblin. That said, Doubledoom is a fairly easy dungeon, and one of the Altars and one of the bosses were very optimal for the Warlord, so all there is left is to use a bit of creativity to kill the other boss (and there were sufficient items and glyphs to do that as well). I did make a small mistake which will most likely mean I won't have a shot at the top xp spot, but I guess the only thing that really matters is the binary result (won/lost). I do wonder, though, where DD saves the screenshot I just took of the victory screen... 8-)

OK, 9th or 10th place, just after Darvin. Picked up speed and rushed it (NB, I am not good at playing quickly) rather than trying anything clever. Patches for bonus chaos. Satisfying little scenario.

Well, there's certainly more competition now that the update's live. Enjoyed the two doubledoom dailies, doubledoom can be dangerous, but it's been quite kind with its bosses. Goblin warlord isn't exactly synergistic, but warlords are good anyway, and human sorcerer is a lot of fun, sorc early game with human damage bonus, not that it was necessary. Plus, magnet:fireball, extra mana and ? I'd have gone parched if I didn't take patches in, finished off with a ding and ~50% blackspace left.

I went at it purist, picked up and proceeded to level up using , then at some point found and just nuked both bossess down with one ding each.

Thought:

Not gonna shine on any stat this time around, but I kinda enjoyed it, will post the screenie in the playthrough thread tommorrow.

Pretty much did what Stooge did. I did indeed get parched due to not using Patches. Could have gotten Miser, too, as I didn't need WHUPAZ for Goo. I wasn't distracted today, so I was able to go for a good time. Let's see if it holds given all the new competition.

Good time for Purist, Lujo.

Ty, I was kinda surprised, too. Especially since I spent a good part of the map with just that very unlikely glyph and didn't touch M. Was a bit of a surprise.

Faffed around to get Parched Miser, which slowed me down. Enjoyed it a lot, though.
