Saw Grimm's Grotto, took JJ for weytwut to avoid unwinnable seeds. Played pretty suboptimally, more fireball spam with dragon soul than assassin, but it was difficult not to win.

There was also a Blue Bead. Nice and easy one, although my time reported a full minute longer than it actually took me, so I expect to fall pretty far down the leaderboard today.

Didn't even need chaos avatar, just a fireball barrage fueled by swifts hands Blue Bead shennanigans. I completely forgot to buy the Dragon Soul, which would have made it even easier. Bought a fortitude tonic at level 1 since JJ hit me with two layers of weakening and poison. Got parched in the end.

Oh yeah, Blue Bead on Assassin, didn't see that synergy coming until it happened. Sweet boss fight spike with the mana there - Assassin vs Shade would otherwise be a non-synergy. I think I leveled up twice and used no potions. I used up the blackspace a bit too quickly, but mana potions would've picked up the slack if not for the Bead. Converted a lot before the boss fight, because magic attack and undead make ENDISWALL and APHEELSIK pointless.

I found today's daily (Elf Assassin on Grim's Grotto) interesting, and a little challenging without being too hard.

"Thinker", just without the "ache".

Crap, went in purist on accident, totally missed out on the bead (also known as "popcorn munchers schadenfraude"). Place had a bit of a screwy opening if you explore in the direction of Wonnafyt last, after that it was much easier.

Went purist and faitless this time (not sure why, felt like it somehow), saw a very strange sight because only 6 people have yet done it or something, so I was 1st on time. And I felt like I was taking a long time and using the mouse to click glyphs with a caster and all that, I bet I'll hear Darvin or someone break the sound barrier on this one...

Seemed like an exceptionally easy run, maybe there was a catch or something that I manage to miss by not overthinking stuff?

Didn't quite play as quickly as I could have, but I'm still #1 with a time of 4:22 at the moment. EM desecration to fuel JJ, then fireball spam. Didn't even pick up the Blue Bead in the shop.

JJ is great for dailies since WEYTWUT is one of the best declogging glyphs in the game, and the reliability that gives you far exceeds the minor nuisance of JJ's whimsical punishments. With the ability to double-prep altars, EM and Binlor are occasionally available to fuel JJ's initial petition. While EM's punishment is a little hard to stomache at level 1, in today's context a fireball specialist really doesn't care. A few days ago the apothecary was available with the combo, so you could just use WEYTWUT to find a green shop then purchase a burn curve salve.

Anyways, point being: JJ is rock solid reliability, and great for dailies. Given his unpopularity on the leaderboard, I don't think most people have picked up on this yet.
