In case anyone is interested, Default gods: MA (Left Middle), TT (Right), PM (Bottom Center).

Seriously, the Battlemage Ring is perhaps the most critical prep today. I couldn't even kill an L2 at the start without first buying a Whurgurbl.

And I definitely wasted lots of blackspace today, picking on unsuitable foes only to give up on them later when I realized I was not able to kill them - I didn't have any damage glyphs at the start (pretty much only picked up and started to use Burndayraz when fighting Gobb) and relied mainly on the Whurgurbl and Bearmace from the sub. That's how I got top damage currently, lol.

Fast forward to level 7, I weytwhuted Gobb to Frank, and after hitting him, just realized damage was peanuts. In the end, just had to make the decision to take Flames and burn both bosses and all enemies to death. Took PM's Alchemist Pact to make sure all the potions do some good at least - perhaps that's the reason I even managed to get top XP for the moment (and no, I didn't even used Imawal today except as a source of mana).

Halfling Bloodmage in Venture Cave
Well, that's a first. I actually delayed petition because I wanted weakening and corrosion for my naga cauldron but hadn't yet been punished by JJ at all. With BYSSEPS and three meatmen near the dungeon entrance, piety farming is a breeze today, and the only real trouble is that BURNDAYRAZ is hiding... so put that LEMMISI glyph to use to locate it! Frank is back, but you should easily be able to reduce him (and everything else in a 12 mile radius) into a smoking, irradiated crater with today's lineup.

(I was originally going to write up something sarcastic while I lamented my struggle against roadblocks such as getting piety too quickly with JJ, but it came across as way over the top and I think the running gag is a bit past its prime anyways  )

Well that was much more relaxing than yesterday! I considered trying to go as fast as possible (which I only ever do when it's an easy dungeon/class combination, 'cause I'm slow by nature), but I decided to just have some fun since it had been a while since I played a Gnome Bloodmage of JJ. Considered aiming for a level 1 boss kill, but since it was Frank and my gameplay is still a bit rusty, I went and started with the level 7 Goo Blob near the entrance first before starting on the boss. Had a fun time :)

I don't think I have ever gotten all health upgrades from JJ before. That was a lot of JJ piety. My first kill was a lvl 9 bandit with ENDISWAL bonus XP active, which shot me up just shy of lvl 7. That was followed by Frank's death. Quite fun. The bonus healing and mana refill from pots due to Naga Cauldron is awesome on a Bloodmage too.

Sounds like everyone loves JJ. Could be a new sitcom. :-)

I almost never prep gods so I got the defaults of PM, Taurog and Binlor. I also almost never choose Taurog no matter what the circumstances...though at times I probably should. I just haven't put the time into managing the gods well.

So, it was a straight forward Binlor run for me. More piety than I could use. Pisorfed everything through walls, including Frank. I didn't even pick up the fireball spell. I converted it on the ground and still killed Frank at level 8.

Question on that Naga Cauldon. I don't think I've seen it in my kingdom yet. I haven't done Namtars Lair or Naga City and most likely never will. I pretty much just do the daily now. Is it worth prepping the cauldron? The writeup didn't sound that overwhelmingly wonderful.

Alright, so today's daily is Gorgon (favorite class hype!) in Berserker Camp. Am writing this as I am playing it myself, so this might be edited frequently.

Was a semi normal game, playing a binlor gorgon (did get stuck in taurog for a while w/o any of the items, which sucked), leveled cautiously and spent blackspace wisely to get stone form and fist before going to town on the berserker boss and Frank. Martyr wraps helped in fighting frank, but not visibly - most of my damage came from knockback + might + stone skin attacks. Grabbed specialist, ding! max, and unstoppable since i forgot that I had the dented helm subdungeon mostly unexplored and 4 of health and mana potions each.

I took this one more seriously than the last Gorgon daily. ;) I even bought the Soul Orb and killed Berserkers at lower levels. :P This time I had plenty of boons and potions for the bosses. The bridge was guarded by a level 1. So, easily passable even if you didn't prep JJ.

Quest item pool: Soul Orb, Agnostic Collar, Mana Pendant, Balanced Dagger, Vampiric Blade, Dragon Soul, Witchalok, and Hero's Helm.
