Reduced health and Corrosion makes this monster a very good target for caster approach. It is highly advisable to avoid taking damage from Acid Blob because of his Corrosion debuff. Because you want to avoid physical attacks against this monster, the BLUDTUPOWA glyph is particularly useful against it. If you have GETINDARE glyph, precast it before fight to have First Strike, so you can finish Acid Blob without taking damage from him.
Like every other monster with Corrosion, Acid Blob leaves corrosive puddles instead of blood pools after his death, giving you 1 stack of Corrosion every time you step on them. You can use WEYTWUT , WONAFYT , or PISORF glyphs to move the Acid Blob before you kill it is one option. Another option is to carve an alternate path with ENDISWAL or cast BLUDTOPOWA to reveal tile behind that pool so you can jump over it.
