BYSSEPS starts unlocked.

Strategy

There isn't much one can say about BYSSEPS. It is cast before an attack, or snuck in during combat thanks to its low mana costs. That's it.

BYSSEPS is the cheapest glyph in the game, but it gets outshined by every other glyph in the game. Combat-wise, most other glyphs bring more to the table, especially Glyph: BURNDAYRAZ BURNDAYRAZ and Glyph: GETINDARE GETINDARE. It adds no utility other than crushing resistances, and while the effect itself sounds useful, its rather hard to exploit in reality. The player will have to take lots of hits until he has grinded down the resistances, which means he will lose much Black space in the process. In practice, it is easer to find alternative ways to slay such enemys, unless you are a berserker against the Tower of Goo or similar match ups.

The Monk is probably the class who benefits the most of this glyph. Since they have a penalty to their damage, BYSSEPS can help them to overcome their low damage. They will also have plenty of opportunitys for using this glyph, since they need a large amount of attacks to beat their foes down.

Trivia

  • The Vicious Tower of Gaan'telet is one of the very few places where BYSSEPS plays an important role. The boss has rather high health coupled with resistances, so BYSSEPS is ironically a must-have.

Despite this being the best possible situation in the game, GETINDARE is still arguably better.
