Soul Orb / Viper Ward: How to prepare?

It was lockerable. It was in the lower right corner of the main screen, in backpack. You overlooked it.

I double checked everything and didn't see any stars or Soul Orb, but I guess I still could have missed it. I did do the quest for the Viper Ward, and THAT worked just fine.

I still haven't even seen the Soul Orb in a dungeon, but I do have my Viper Ward.

You can always try a few runs of Tinker Bronze. If you don't see something show up there, then there might be cause for concern.
