Heh-heh-heh, today's Daily was totally wicked! Elf Wizard on the Pit, where half of the monsters (including one of the bosses) are soft and crispy... With Battlemage ring to boot... Burning down everything just feels awesome!
EDIT: @Lujo, I don't think that's a nod to me, but rather to efficiency. 25% damage bonus for what you do is generally as strong as an item slot can get. Add Flames... Plus the general massive mana pool... Thanks to Wizard you can convert cp-junk (including Health Potions) just after collecting all glyphs to boost your mana to 20+ without needing to pop a glyph, so when you do pop them, hopefully you gain refills on top of the remaining few mana points. This is why Elf Wizard works wonderfully with Mystera as well, not just JJ. TT is OK, but I would not prep him for this combo, because JJ and Mystera are outright better, and if you don't get either (which is something like 40% only probability), still you can fall back on getting TT himself (w/o prep penalty), or The Earthmother or Binlor, who also work fine. Worst draw is Pactmaker + Taurog + GG or Dracul, but GG does offer a neat bonus to Mana and some refills and the encouraged early conversions - especially if boosted by Pactmaker - means higher Mana overall. Dracul is fine I guess, locks you out of any XP race, but boosts spell damage effortlessly, might be worth it just for that.
