The dailies have been throwing really synergistic runs around recently, yesterday's doesn't even need to be talked about, it's just an unrepentant burnfest.

This one was real fun but honestly difficult not to win. Gnome warlord, zot, Zot isn't quite as useful on Hexx, I ended up keeping it for the mana bonus until the very end, martyr wraps really aren't a significant disadvantage on warlord and are useful for shooting through the early levels, plus it gives you something to do with your mana, stacking corrosion on the second boss. The badge and mace are a nice damage boost for a gnome.

Only trouble is that Hexx Ruins doesn't let you play for speed, what with the revenants and boss gimmick. I eventually got to a point where I realised trying to kill everything would just be a waste of time, I ended up letting Stheno get 24% resistances, it didn't matter, I had so many resources left at the end I could have killed a 90% resist Stheno.

Fun little romp. Warlord in Hexx Ruins is kinda a walk in the park, so I decided to do it Hoarder/Parched. Given that I was going hoarder, I decided the second prep slot was dead weight and left it empty. Jehora Jeheyu and Glowing Guardian on either side of the start location was just lol. I found JJ first so I instantly joined his religion and started popcorn bowling. With the help of Zot and a Pendant of Mana I hit the 18 mana threshold early and was able to do CYDSTEPP/WEYTWUT for some easy kills. Bleaty went down at level 5, then I cleaned up for Stheno. I didn't find BURNDAYRAZ until the very end, so I just left the level 9 Goo Blob alive and let Stheno absorb that one.

I skipped the Vegetarian Vampire; too time intensive and not worth the small bonuses for the amount of time it takes to carefully plan out your ideal meal plan ;-)

Spent ages in the subdungeon. No regrets. :P

Zot really is an incredible prep. Didn't even need to find the BURNDAYRAZ to blast through the whole level.
Killing the boss with full health and mana is an amazing feeling.

I also ignored the subdungeon - I ussually only fiddle with it when I can destroy the walls and most often for a mana point if I can get it.

And I'm pretty sure time on these things is affected by having a lot of sinergistic stuff spawn and having the preps be a bit on the strong side generally. Well, not so much this time, except ZoT, which I only take into Vicious Steel otherwise. Didn't find Yendor, though, so that's something...

Oh yeah baby! Gnome Warlord of GG! This was so much fun...

I scored tons of piety from the little brewery my character opened as a second job, enough to get the basics (few shots of Absolution plus Humility), keep the corrosion at bay (and slice up the Goos) with a dozen Cleansings, get Enlightenment for that third CYDSTEPP, and still finish at 100 Piety (and overflowing I guess). 8-)

I completely forgot the sub this time. I checked it out, and just went back to hacking monsters, making a mental note to come back to it later. That note didn't stick though I guess... ;)

Since the starting items were ideal, I tried out this:

Welp, mashed myself into an early loss this time, should have been a reasonably easy victory, oh well.

Darn, I missed out on yesterday's daily, and it sounds like it was a fun one (I love Hexx). Ah well, there goes my win streak...

Today's Gnome Monk in Ick was made significantly easier by the Amulet of Yendor. A bit cheaty arguably (should that item really ever show up as a prep for the dailies?), but I'm not a fan of Monks in Ick Swamp. Still, JJ near the entrance meant a nice boosted mana pool along with some extra health, and Monks sure do love that extra level and -20% resistances from Chaos Avatar. Still was way tighter than it ever should have been considering Yendor. I should brush up my Monk skills, I've got some vicious dungeons I have to clear with the class anyway...

I've been in weird places with strange monks lately, and they kinda struggle outside of their comfort zone (they're pretty monstrous in there though). They're also kinda deeper than what the traditional Orc approach might lead one to believe, but the Vicious maps are kinda extra-well suited to giving them a hard time and as opposed to everybody else they can't just PoS their way through everything due to low base damage (they can PoS down most of the Demonic Library aboveground, though, which is saying something). I did a purist Gobbo Monk on Naga City today, and I'm willing to bet that most classess can do any regular Vicious dungeon purist if they just find a decent Pissorff setup (and decent by my standards, which are much lower than average), Monks kinda feel like they flat out need the extra cheezy stuff like Crystal Ball. Still, you buff them - they destroy everything. I'm also not entirely sure how they fare in vicious without the Binlor Treatment, but GG Gobbo and JJ Martyr Wraps Gobbo/Dwarf/Halfling guys kick plenty of ass in general.

For today my time is rather long because I took an unexpected break halfway through, the general thing was:
