*SPOILERS* Dailies Thread

I really dropped the ball on this one, like for a moment there I thought I'd actually lost it. I was out of resources and the boss still had a hundred or so hit points. I despaired as I looked for options and then I remembed "ah, right, gnome" and started converting stuff for potions

I'm loving all the elves the dailies are throwing out, and I've gotten real addicted to JJ as the safe option when it comes to deities, but I gotta say, with an elf sorcerer of JJ I was really feeling how blackspace intensive a high mana character is. Still, slingshot through the early levels, fought the phys immune boss with some mana potions, ended up buying a reflex potion to take out the magic immune boss, set up a ding and used that+chaos avatar against Herp.

Draco's heart was tempting, but magnet:fireball is too nice not to pick, didn't want to sacrifice the inventory slot or commit to JJ, but I took him when he showed up anyway, I was gonna take the shield for conversion fodder, but forgot to, and took smuggler's den for the last one. Dragon's soul as usual is amazing, didn't really need any other items besides the reflex potion. The bosses all being so close by was real nice, even though I commented on the blackspace I finished with 40~50% of the level unexplored + a totally unexplored smuggler's den. I'm actually a little annoyed I converted B2P on sight, I massively underuse it and this would have been a good opportunity to explore it.

I shouldn't have succumbed to the temptation of Draco's Heart. It took me forever and a day to find BURNDAYRAZ, costing me the top time spot. Oh well, had fun and accumulated a ludicrous amount of max HP in the end

Went Drac, took Blood Curse and Lifesteal, took Consensus for Blood Shield, and mostly fireballed stuff from that point on. Went Hoarder not because I was trying, but because I had 18 mana and enough popcorn. I'm not sure what I was doing for 8 minutes though...

Today's daily gave me a bit of a scare. Not the challenge itself, but the fact that my DD/Unity seemed to having stopped working, and it miraculously got back to working again, though I've no clue what tipped it in the end.

Well, today'd daily was fun, took sword for that delicious damage, battlemage ring, patches (Feels like an okay risk on a normal map with half-dragon). Thought about Binlor, but I remembered the level being light on walls. Played around with cydstepp at early levels, took Taurog once I found him, didn't even find BURNDAYRAZ before I converted the bm ring. Set up a ding for the boss, ended up three shotting him. Could have gone parched if I hadn't picked Patches (little bugger didn't give me any resistances anyway).

Heh, I saw the map and thought - well, this will be a challenge, let's see if it works (in a sense I that I went unrthodox with the Dragon). I almost arsed up, because I took a jaunt into Drac and picked up lifesteal and Blood Curse as I generally do, before switching into EM which I generally don't do much lately - and only then remembered she doesn't like lifesteal. Luckily I had indulgences.

Not much to say. Found CYDSTEPP, got some high level kills with DP, found APHEELSIK and got some more high level kills with poison, then killed the boss with a level-up catapult. Never needed to touch an altar.

I hear today's daily could've been fun. For me it was rather brief...

1st attempt: "server could not be reached, please try again later"
2nd attempt: "you've already played today's daily"

I hope stuff like this will be fixed for the live version, I can imagine people getting frustrated by missing out on a daily like this.

Especially since that breaks your streak. For those of us with very high completion percentages these sorts of things could make up a disproportionate number of our failed runs, and that'd be very frustrating.
