From what Darvin wrote, I think specifically, 1. You can avoid punishments that much more reliably in some cases, and 2. Weytwut is great for speed runs.

I should've listened. I forgot that there were two bosses, blew 50 piety on Tomithy, and then had a lvl 9 blocking off the other boss... X-P

It was still easy enough that I won with Parched. But it could've been smoother. EM wasn't bad for an Elf, though! Corrosion and mana spikes, good times. I'll never reach the top 10 for daily speed, but I can hit the top 10 streaks if I can just outlast 7 or 8 from whoever's left... Gotta be the tortoise...

Parched Miser. Really fun, if very easy, daily (but then HOS is one of the easiest dungeons). Both looking forwards to and dreading a challenging one.

I think what Darvin meant was in the context of having an elven spellcaster vs. a map with wraiths and 2 bossess who are very easy to fireball (and also Getindare and B2P on board). JJ would've been fine even without the desecration, but speeding up a Petition was easpecially not a problem today even without a burn salve.

And the "special situation" with JJ in dailies is that you've got Binlor or EM as preps you can start with bonus piety on top of starting with Wheytwut. I'm still not sure that has any tangible merit with JJ in particular, really, except speed and convenience (I do see some other gods being much stronger than they usually are with prepped +30 and Indulgences).

What happens if you prep more gods than can fit on the map? Or does the program preclude the possibility?

We never had a daily before where it was possible to prep 4 gods, so we don't know.
We may have had one with 3 + Extra Altars, I'm not sure.

What I do know is how Fewer an Extra Glyph work out together: you'll have 5 glyphs with 130 CP value.
