I went with a Taurog rat, but given the amount of times a monster blocked my way, I probably would have been better off with JJ. I saved Taurog's death protections for the boss and barely won on the last possible hit.

Almost died right at the start from sealing myself in with Wonafyting. Luckily, I had just enough piety with GG (from converting off Bludtopowa and 3 potions) to use his refills 2 times. I needed that to get rid of a level 1 Bandit (the easiest target) to escape from the "hole" I was trapped in (no more tiles to explore and regen from).

The rest of the run is just standard rat business. The main difficulty is to be able to tank a hit from the boss to put in enough corrosion. And also cutting down on mana wasted when he hits and mana-burns you. Other than that, I didn't feel like this was tougher than the previous Rat run (that felt really scary becos without the Crystal Ball, I would have never been able to beat it).

I must say, a few health boons from JJ goes a long way. Managed to take down a lvl 7 meatman at lvl 3 (only saw an equally suitable lvl 8 one afterwards) and the lvl 8 at lvl 5. Started on the boss at lvl 6 right before a ding and a CA queued and with lots of shops and money for some refills. My first Rat win in a daily. Tinker's rat thread helped a lot.

Redeemed myself after the last rat run. Didn't know it'd be TS but it's a really nice prep layout (JJ, Magnet, Witchalok and Agnostic's Collar). I saw B2P on the floor and started the boss fight at level 4 with 2 health and mana boosts for crazy B2P antics, finished parched and with a Chaos Avatar in the bank. Bade of Honour + Reflex + Schadenfreude was pretty great for the big damage boost against the boss.

So, anybody tried to prep both Elite & Quest items? What would happen if you'd do?

Run started looking out good, with getting petition right out of the gate due to prepping mystera & collar, but alas, I misclicked 2 steps later. Oh well.

My longest streak so far ended on that Monk run in Ick Swamp, because my net connection was down. I was pretty disappointed about that, especially since I would have been able to do it if I did early in the morning before the connection broke. That disappointment dissipated when it become clear that the connection wasn't going to go up the next day so the streak would have ended anyway. It is still down, hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow.

Today's run was pretty easy. JJ is amazingly good for Rats.

I survived the rat run. Bought Witchalok, which was great for farming, but useless for the wraith boss. :(

Still, there were two level 7 meat men and a level 8 as well. Between Platemail and Witchalok, I was able to efficiently take them down at levels 2-5. But Witchaloking cost me a lot of would-be JJ piety, so it was rough going. Spoon and the Schadenfreude subdungeon saved the boss fight. There just wasn't enough gold or blackspace. I only corroded the boss two or three times, and then mana-spiked it down within one melee hit. Had to fireball and heal, hovering its health at 25 or so until I could get a melee hit for the kill.

Pretty rough run. A different boss would've made the shop pool nicer. Soul Orb might've been a better buy, but not by much. I don't know how this could've been cleaner. I had a hard time.
