So as not to cause undue alarm to Tinker, I have nothing to say today ;)

Also, it occurs to me that yesterday was the 300th daily. So happy 301st everyone?

I concur with Darvin's assessment. Pretty straight forward run.

Shops are pretty meh as smuglapse indicated.

Should be some huge scores today. If I can do it and get the Miser and Faithless badges, you all should be hitting quadruple digits! :-)

@Tinker: Yeah, you're right, not really that interesting just going through the routine. EM, then GG with piety farming from plants, potions and bought items, Enlightenment.

Took a sneak peak at today's new daily: Gorgon in DoubleDoom, what's with the frequency of Gorgons? Anyway, preps don't look all that great, just don't prep GG who is normally good but don't even think about using him for a Gorgon.

Gorgon, Double Doom

:( I played badly today, while prepping Patches... and lost. Two badly timed mana burns (with one causing MA punishment) used up too many potions before fighting the bosses. Frank was two fireballs away from getting Death-gazed.

Anyway, prepping Binlor got me MA and PM. The bosses were Frank and the goblin Lord. The subs were goblins and blacksmith. Glyphs were PISORF, WEYTWAT, IMAWAL, and GETINDARE.

^Sorry to hear about your loss. My own victory was way, way too close for comfort.. I think I had exactly one mana potion I could have spared and nothing else, and that's with using knockback to damage both bosses simultaneously. Binlor is a tricky prep proposition in DoubleDoom... he's typically great for Gorgons but this dungeon already has fairly few walls and somewhat awkward exploration due to the layout, so piety management is a challenge when prepped. And of course, I tried to be clever by leveraging Pactmaker's body pact alongside Binlor and got punished as a result, losing my natural resistance (took body pact before consensus, then leveled up with a hit that also triggered the pact and thus cost me part of my 10 piety buffer). I really had kick it up a notch to win from there (I notably got to make clever use of the Gorgon's petrification ability to salvage a last few boons), which feels like a common refrain for all of the tougher dailies I've played recently: I make a series of terrible plays, get suddenly faced with the very real likelihood of losing, then scramble to just barely pull a victory out of the run.

Anyway, that was my daily reminder that my gorgon chops in particular need some practice :P

Gorgon is also my weakest class/race, and I was certainly not happy to see Frank. I have very few nice things to say about today's run; in fact, I can say with confidence that it's the hardest daily we've had all year!

Used a Binlor->Mystera, converted in with enough piety to easily get mystic balance then used consensus to afford refreshment to dump all my mana-based resources on Frank after beating through Gobb with poison and level-ups. With all the extra glyphs obtained through Binlor worship, I had enough refreshment to win comfortably.
