Wow..it's like I was playing a different dungeon! What you prep really messes around with what come up in the shops.

I didn't see the Soul Orb or the Martyr Wraps and was wishing for both. I prepped quest items and EM. The soul orb might have gotten hidden under a plant statue. Didn't see Taurog. Got JJ and Binlor as the other gods.

Agnostic Collar saved the day for me. I got stuck in EM. For some reason, I thought that Gorgon's natural petrification would count for piety. Surprise, it didn't. So I kept getting myself boxed in and had to Endiswal my way out.

Didn't think I could win but I bought the collar at the end, desecrated JJ, switched to Binlor and desecrated EM. Got some wall busting goodness, a Witchalok Pendant and a Whupazz potion and bashed Frank through walls along the outer edge.

It was one of those "won it on the very last possible hit" kind of dungeons, for me. Made it in to a couple of the top 10 spots...which is funny. I get top ten when I play badly and survive.

I picked preps today to round out the spoiler information, though more out of a completionist desire than anything else, given how late I got around to post it... Probably won't be much use as most players already did the Daily today. Anyway.

Extra Glyph gave me:

I prepared the available shop item (Mana Pendant) to see whether any indexes get shifted by it. It turns out a *lot* of them do, so there's actually quite a bit of leeway to play with the items today. So I got:
"Thinker", just without the "ache".

@Tinker: I prepped both Quest Items and Mana Pendant, and the shop pool was as you predicted, ;) Though, I didn't prep the shop scroll but I think you should be right.

What would prepping all 4 give (Quest Items, Elite Items, Mana Pendant, Shop Scroll)?
[Forget that I asked, I think Elite Items and Mana Pendant share the same slot, can't remember]

Year of the Gorgon: *Gorgon in Shifting Passages*

It's nice to know that there's no Round 4 of Gorgon Vs Frank today. And nice to see Aequitas winning it Purist, :)

Quest + Elite + Stone Heart = Shop Pool: Mana Pendant, Piercing Wand, Crystal Ball, Witchalok, Stone Sigil, Vampiric Blade, Keg of Health, and Wicked Guitar.

I Guitar'd all the things, but there were 5 monsters left on the board.

Whew, I made a horrifically bad screwup today and sweated the entire boss fight to recover from it. If anyone's wondering about my 16 minute time today, that's why (although strangely I'm still #1 for time so far? I guess the other fast players have yet to play). It was coming right down to the wire, but fortunately I managed to eke out one last level-up through alchemist's pact and won without having to actually use my schadenfreude potion. Whew. Default shop pool was great, with an early Gloves of Midas to enable a full buyout if you want.

Good to see Aequitas on the leaderboard, and showing his chops by taking on a challenging daily purist.

I don't know whether I am starting to hate or like Gorgons. So the dungeon took me 20 minutes without clearing all mobs. The boss fights were tighter than I thought they would be. Crystal Ball saved my behind a few times. I couldn't even afford the Elven Boots. At least JJ boosted my mana to decent levels.

That horrible feeling at 6:30 am when, at level 1, you are whittling away a level 2 goat and think to yourself "now, go uncover some black space or you will die...don't click attack...DON"T CLICK...crap...why did I click attack?"

Tired of Gorgon runs anyway. :-)
