Tried and got top XP and Piety for the moment, with help from my favourite goddess.

Was just a little higher than Tinker's score, could have been higher, there was 1 of Taurog's gear which I had left on the floor and had no way to access it - Blocked by the barbed bushes, and I only had Imawal left (had to convert off Burndayraz to be able to convert out of Taurog due to using Imawal when worshipping him).

I saw Vemb prepped TT, definitely has a decent chance of pushing XP score even higher.

Goat, Cursed Oasis

My least favorite class on my least favorite map, oh boy that was fun.
Was stuck with Tikki Tooki at level 7 to deal with the dragon, got a lucky dodge and barely managed to scrape-by salvaging EVERYTHING.
seriously, I never thought I would salvage that much food, very satisfying to see that victory screen though.

Another great culling. :( I don't think we need too much spoiler tags for occasions like this? Anyway SPOILER ALERT if you choose to continue reading.

----------------------

I was fortunate enough to convert to TT at my boss fight (at level 8), and has saved the secret subdungeon for a piety spike and dealt with the Dragon accordingly. There should be enough food for conversion if you can survive the first few levels.

Two things worth pointing out:

1. The Cursed Shade is in the very corner of the map (downright), this gave me a headache because I wasn't able to fight it under the most optimal deity (GG). Instead I fought under Binlor and even wasted a Stoneskin (forgot I'm cursed) instead of lowering its resistances a few times like a rational player would have done.

2. You might encounter a bug where a certain deity's altar (TT's in my case) would not be revealed if you convert to it in the cursed realm. Could be because I prepped Conjunction and that messed with the location.

The bug and my end screen:

As always, Goat runs are always more about sheer luck and caution than skills, and Cursed Oasis is not a good map for random RNGs. Sorry for anyone being caught in today's run.

Those wraiths just kept jumping into the unexplored territory, and with Goatperson rules you often don't have a choice of who to attack if you need food so you have to take the risk :x

Anyways, I prevailed. Did most of the boss battles under GG, then triggered a level-up to get out and use potions. I managed to hop into TT so I got to enjoy some reflexes. I had all my CP saved up for the final fight, so it was a smackdown once I got there. Annoyingly I purchased Petition with JJ and then never bounced to his religion again after that, so wasted 45 piety on that sucker. It's not worth the risk of getting slammed by health drain during the final boss fight, but still annoying because I could have used some mana and health boosts.

Wow, that was a toughie! At one stage I had no potions (most weren't discovered yet), and only BURNDAYRAZ + HALPMEH, a spoon, my Battlemage Ring and a purchased Dragon Soul, while poisoned and manaburned with no food in sight. Somehow I pulled through from that position (sacrifices were tough) and went on to defeat the Shade boss. I cleaned up some wraiths after that for a little food supplu, and had just enough juice from food and discovered glyphs to take on and defeat the Dragon boss. The only "punishment" I received was from Binlor for leveling while below 10 piety. I saw JJ all of 2 times (didn't even get Petition as I couldn't afford it) and only saw TT once at lvl 2. I think I would not have made it had I seen him at lvl 1.

I am sure I will have nightmares about this daily for the rest of this week...

That was somewhat nerve-wracking but ended many refills left over.

Gods were pretty favourable for me during the run. Only problem I had was that I would have liked to get TT before I had to kill most of popcorn for food (got him first time at Humility Lvl6 I think).
