*Goblin Rogue in Venture Cave*
There is opportunity for some insane XP scores today. Last I checked, I was still keeping the top Piety and XP seats warm for the serious score mongers. Have fun. :)

First Darvin, then William, then Vemb, then Tinker. Probably a few others in the middle. Course of a typical D.E.R.P., really.

Top XP and Piety for the moment, :)

http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.c ... 4ACF47C5A/

First kill L3 Zombie I didn't promote it since doing so would cause me to be not able to kill it. Second kill L6 Goat I forgot to promote it, stupid me! And also, I had an extra unwanted ding from L2 to L3 due to converting the 2nd glyph (converted Lemissi first, then Endiswal, had converted off the Keg too earlier so I wasn't expecting my 2nd glyph conversion to cause me to ding but it did. Could have been avoided if I was more careful).

Only left with Potion shop since I had no more gold to buy stuff. Am thinking, Tinker most likely can beat my score given her more efficient play, even though I have a bit of a lead with extra CP from prepped Keg, prepped Translocation Scroll which helped me to grab all 8 shop items for conversion for XP.

So I looked at Vemb's victory screen and I thought it's an unbeatable score. The leveling was flawless, altar swapping done optimally, the only thing that caught my eye was all those Tributes. I thought about some way to beat his score and I thought, either I try to do the same thing, only not take any Tributes and buy shop junk to convert instead, or I take a risk and go in with other preps, maxing CP, but that means JJ may not show.

So I went in with same preps and tried to repeat his game, but JJ was not very cooperative with his L1 punishments, and I just couldn't kill anything meaningful after I finally Petitioned him to stop harassing me. So I did a slow start, and only picked up at L2, I had to tweak the kill-chain a bit to accommodate my slightly lower XP score. Still, not taking any Tributes gave me a bit higher score in the end (though looking at Tim's even higher score, I see that taking risks paid out).

"Thinker", just without the "ache".

Gorgon in Southern Swamp

An interesting and easy, though somewhat mind-boggling run... ;)

I was in the mood for an "aided purist" run (that is, taking only preps that don't impact shop/altar/glyph spawn). As an added benefit, I wanted to give basic spoiler info for others to tweak their runs to their pleasure.

Guess what the sub is?
