I died, tried to be greedy but couldn't get the whole combination of items and god boons to work as I intended.

See, I was trying to "maximize" possible XP by holding onto both Gloves of Midas and Martyr Wraps (to build up corrosion for easier boss kill). In the end, probably wasted potential XP from higher level kills by having the Orb in my inventory. This and I thought I could just take Spirit Pact early - later I found that I couldn't take CA because my piety just couldn't go up (converting stuff drops it) and wanted to take it to clear off my corrosion and weakness before facing the 5 zombies. Also had converted off Wonafyt very early - is probably the only good way to face them (the 5 sub zombies) since there was no Endiswal or B2P or Lemissi.

Nicely done by Tinker, did you even use Spirit Pact? Potential Top XP could be even higher?

Thanks for nuttin' Patches! First thing that stupid teddy bear does is teleport me to the far side of the river! There I am, a lowly level 2 Vampire in the midst of nothing less than level 4 badguys, with a Troll guard in between me and all the squishy stuff. Dead vampire is the overwhelmingly likely result, though I did manage to get to level five using all my resources and nearly killed the troll. But it came down to the last hit, and he hit harder.

Patches was only good to me. I got the free ride to the other side at level 3, and I was kind of hoping for it. I could have survived it at level 2, because I had balanced dagger and WONAFYT (both right near the start... as usual for WONAFYT, but it is a bit hidden against the right edge).
