* Goblin Chemist in Ick Swamp *

Today's run is nice... not like that Venture Cave run a couple days back. I must be cursed to misclick there, it's not the first time I've gone through a streak with tougher runs (goat, labyrinth leading in this time) only to fall to Venture Cave. I must treat it as the most vicious dungeon in the game from now on.

Anyways, unlike many people I don't shy away from JJ when JJ is strongly called for. And with Chemist potion weirdness, running them through JJ's boons makes them so much better. Trying to regen fight in the swamp is a bit tricky, as you keep running into plants blocking access. Plus the plants make for lots of JJ piety... just be careful not to overstack BICEPS before you're ready. Continually casting one level while hacking down the bush equals Make Piety Fast. Add in the general decluttering and the fact that CA can be used to strip the boss of a large chunk of his protection. JJ is so good today.

Really love it when the daily combination leads to little surprises like this:

Double-dinged from doing Enlightenment, totally not expecting it. And what's more I even gain 1 piety net from it, basically a free Enlightenment, haha.

Got top XP and Piety as a result, but really wasn't expecting the whole combination to give such a pleasant result as shown above (everything came together nicely, extra mobs for more XP, Imawal for a bit more XP, the whole GG thing meshing well with goblin paladin - XP shenanigans from conversions and cheap boons, early Gloves of Midas purchase to allow for more conversions, etc.).

My streak is most likely going to end tomorrow, as I will be traveling for a few weeks. There's your chance to secure #1 spot for total wins again!

Today's daily isn't too hard if you know how the rat works. I only had some difficulty finding a 2nd Health Potion after using the starting one to cure JJ poison.

Guess I am rusty already as I found the daily quite "hard". Still managed to pull through it and murder all mobs by making use of all 3 gods. Slowest time (of those that completed) and got top XP and Piety. Guessing I am one of the few that actually took down both bosses, should be possible to just kill the Dragon on top.

Went Binlor after JJ to grab Knockback but only possible due to the availability of Endiswal glyph (early decision I made was to dump off the Lemissi due to inventory space shortage and also because I really used up a ton of blackspace and was still only level 3).

Did a bit of yoyo-ing between the 2 levels for shop purchase refills for level-ups and made use of remaining potions to finish off the Shade boss (I fired off Zot below, maybe firing it off above would have made just killing the Dragon boss easier).

Secret sub with extra gold definitely helped out a lot with shop purchase refills.

As can be seen, I "wasted" quite a substantial amount of XP (all the kills before CA) and I am thinking probably if I had not desecrated Binlor after conversion to Dracul and left it for CA after final conversion back to JJ, might be possible to get an even higher XP score by doing CA first then the remaining kills.

Well, to be honest it's only once I got to the boss fights that it became easy. My start was a bit rough with a lack of conversion fodder (I had some trouble find glyphs... Lemissi was found early, but I decided to leave it on the ground and use it on the pool to stack corrosion on one of the bosses). Finding good targets is always a bit tricky for rats in the Oasis too. But I also knew that all I needed to do was get to level 5 with enough HP to take a hit from the Curse Shade and I was set... he has few hit points and his resistance means nothing to a rat. Especially one with the mana to cast three fireballs and with GETINDARE.

Firing off Zot above wouldn't have mattered to me... I wasn't using black space in that fight so all damage was permanent already. I eventually converted it.

* Goatperson in the Slime Pit *

Very forgiving Goatperson run. BLUDTUPOWA, WONAFYT and BURNDAYRAZ right at the start should give anybody good chance.

The combination of glyphs and gods (XP-heaven) together with the sub gives such a good opportunity for me to do some crazy XP shenanigans by making the best use of them.

https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ ... EEE516478/

At one point with JJ, I could even do things like converting food to max out my piety for the full refill to both bars boon from him, then convert another batch of food to max my piety to 100 first converting to EM.

https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ ... F8F6CAF4C/

Crazy top numbers for all 3 categories, definitely not the highest for each one in all dailies so far, but easily the "top" record for having all 3 at such a high number in a single daily.

A return to the dailies from me.

While * Orc Berserker in the Shifting Labyrinth * wasn't so interesting (who needs spells), today is

* Rat Monarch in the Hexx Ruins *

Now I'm starting to get the hang of the Rat, and surprisingly the hardest seeming problem of spawning ghouls became pretty simple to deal when you can take out monsters several levels higher than you with persistence of regen, and excellent preps.
