@Avatar - Wow, I was literally in the middle of my run and about to use up my last slayer wand when I reloaded the page and read that.

OK, part 2 completed... part 3 is in Hexx Ruins, I guess? There are no goats there last I checked... I'll have to do some thinking, I guess.

Glad I could spare you having to run that a bunch more due to some fortuitous timing! As for part 3, Hexx Ruins is very much along the right lines, but it isn’t in Hexx Ruins. If only there was a level very similar to Hexx anywhere that happens to have goats?

Warlord Silver it is. But Unstoppable and Faithless?.. damn. I remember there being an obnoxious amount of Meat Men, and the level's gimmick won't help matters...

If you adjust your strategy accordingly it really shouldn’t prove difficult. In fact, apart from maybe part 5 and certainly part 6, if Nurator is any indicator, you shouldn’t have any trouble with the rest of it, assuming you can find what you need to.

Finished part 3! I ended up just scumming for early IMAWAL and pretty much playing the EM strategy (but without EM, of course). Nothing much to say here - the challenge isn't that hard to begin with, and Faithless isn't a problem (also I realized I can use IMAWAL on high level enemies and not just the revenants, which helped as I converted BURNDAYRAZ and there were a couple of high level goo blobs. All in all, not too difficult.

Seeing as part 4 seems to be in a puzzle, I don't think I'm going to have much to comment on it.

Interestingly, part 3 is actually very easy if you use the counterintuitive strategy of killing everything you can as soon as soon as it comes on screen, regardless of level. Sure, you significantly weaken your maximum exp by doing so, but the dungeon is sufficiently easy that it actually works. Meanwhile, if you try to play normally without IMAWAL you frequently end up unable to kill all the revenants. You are correct in that part 4 is the (simple) puzzle segment, but enjoy it because it is the calm before the storm of 5 and 6.

Yeah, I pretty much cleared 4 instantly and didn't think much about it. I do like the lore that's developing though - this gilded goat guy sure has influence everywhere, that's for sure.

Real quick, am I correct that part 5 is in hard gaan-telet or VGT? I'm actually flat broke right now and don't want to waste preps going for VGT if that's not necessary. (No other spoilers though, please!)

Sorry for double post, but by the way, I'm noticing (I guess) a bug where sometimes the regular subdungeon does not spawn in Hidden Workshop (I've been playing with the Tinker quest a bit, that's how I noticed).

First, yes it is in VGT. And bring your absolute best, cause it’ll make things much tougher. Alternatively, use Vampire cause that circumvents a lot of the difficulties.

As for the bug, noted. We’ll look into it.

'sigh'. well that's one way to get majorly disheartened. I finally actually tried the part 5 riddle as vampire and I fell 1 minion short of clearing the curse. with the curse my 39% resists would have been enough to make the berserk state do 15 damage to me (79 but 9 level lifesteal). an entire hour of gameplay decided on the back of 1 minion. it was also sad that the troll showed up last and a distinct lack of meat men showed up in the gauntlet floors. also shops seemed underwhelming the piercing wand really helped with doing the resists though. might try again, eventually, but man 1 minion.
