Wait, he gains 10 damage per statue killed? I assumed it was at damage thresholds as he spawns the statues. I don't see how I can handle a 180 damage boss, even with 5 lifesteal and platemail I literally won't have enough health to tank a hit from him by the end. So obviously killing more than a couple statues just isn't an option. PISORFing them around should be interesting and I might consider dropping IMAWAL for APHEELSIK in that case.

It's strange that you can wipe his resists even if you just move him around with PISORF without damaging him. With that effect, you can move him away from the statues while also wiping his resists for maximum efficiency. Also, pushing a couple of statues towards the level 5 goats will allow you to use them as bloodcows, I think.

If I can carry any mana there that would be nice. Seems like BYSSEPS isn't necessary for the bottom, so the final glyphs are going to be PISORF and APHEELSIK, maybe with GETINDARE (since it doesn't have any CP anyway). BURNDAYRAZ is not needed past the second phase, and the only reason I want it there is for the bonus EXP. If I get a nice spawn in part 1 like ENDISWAL, I might use that instead. BLUDTUPOWA isn't bad either, as with that, PISORF, and a couple of level ups, Gharbad will fall very easily. It's completely worthless in part 3, though.

I'm not sure that he gains 10 damage if you petrify the statues, but Pisorf is the recommended strategy anyway.

However, I'm pretty sure Pisorfing him on an empty tile should not alternate his resistances...

Yeah, that's probably a bug then, because that's what's been going on. If that's not intended, then IMAWAL remains more efficient for dealing with the statues if he doesn't gain damage from doing so, since it will take 2 shots of PISORF to move a statue out of range (costing 8 mana) while it takes 1 IMAWAL to effectively do the same thing. If it comes down to a choice between IMAWAL and APHEELSIK, APHEELSIK is worth more, though. Does poison prevent Snared from healing enemies?

I believe it does. But Snared will make the poison stack drop faster.
Actually, I noticed that Burning that makes you regen 1 less point per level is twice as effective on enemies with Fast Regen (a burning level 5 enemy with fast regen will heal 8 point per tile instead of 10), and it also affects the regen amount from Snared. It's still much less than poison, of course.

About the bug:
The alternating resistances are working properly for form 1. But form 4 code is slightly different and it makes Pisorf on empty tiles alternate the resistances.
I believe that it's a bug, but I'm waiting for The Avatar's confirmation before I fix it.

Bug confirmed, I'll fix it soon, and hopefully we'll release a new version soon too.

@Nurator: ouch...

@Nurator - keep at it, you're quite close from the looks of it. At the very least, it seems you're killing them in the right order.
I believe I'm usually able to carry 3 glyphs out of part 1, or 2 glyphs and a solid item like Platemail or Vampiric Blade.

That's the expected amount, shade_of_ox, so any remaining trouble you have is stemming from parts 2 or 3. All-in-all though, based on my reading of what you've done thus far you've basically won it. You just need a run where you play all three parts well enough (or just find good items) to actually secure the win.

@Nurator: I have to believe you have the solution, practically. Is there no way you can convert a glyph/item any earlier in the fight or something? Usually 1 damage off indicates an error of that nature.

Also, has anyone solved Family Matters yet?
