Punchomancer is definitely a strat.  If you're prepping Binlor and a Crystal Ball and playing Orc while you're at it, you're devoting a lot more to PISORF than you would if you were someone who was going with some other build when the glyph just happened to drop (yes, you could do Elf or Gnome, and the class could be Wizard or Sorcerer for direct class synergy).  Sometimes it's a lot easier to regen-fight a single monster than it is to PISORF-spike two at once, so stacking the deck for PISORF with preps, races, and classes deserves a mention.  Maybe even Rat Monarch billiards deserves a mention - I survived the Rat Monarch Shifting Passages DERP by corroding cue balls instead of Bleaty himself...

Pisorf spiking might be a good option with a lot of setups, but cranking the preps specifically to min-max in favor of boss billiards seems like a legitimate special case to me. (Though admittedly, the "min-max" that goes into PISORF spam is a mix of stats that also favors generalists to a large extent, so lolol) - [[User:MTaur|MTaur]]

We are in early 2014. DD has finally fully been released, the design should be pretty stable, and strategies have evolved a lot ! So it might be high time to refresh that page...

Things that could be added/changed: - Popcorn : that concept should be added there - Acid caster - Punchomancer - rename "battle of attrition" into "Regen fighting"

I also feel that the whole page could be reorganised, to get to different level of strategies (general strategies, that any character can use, to more specific one based on some combos)

From Lujo:

"Acid Caster" isn't a strat it's just hitting a lot of Greenblood on EM - that's for the EM page (and boils down to simply saying that if you force Greenblood hard enough you can end up with enough corrosion on monsters to destroy everything). "Punchomancer" also isn't a strat, it's litterally just how you use Pissorff - it's for the Pissorff page, in fact, that page hardly needs anything more written on it besides that (more or less) and listing several classess it's default on and a few dungeons where it isn't generally the best idea. "Halflingzerker" isn't a strat, it's just being a halfling berserker, it's something the PQI can set you up with. "Self cannon" cannon isn't a strat, it's a gimmick on the Labyrinth - it was never used because it's good but on a dare to see if it could be done. Lvl 1 bosskills - there's a million ways to do it, it's more of an achievement thing.

That whole category is just a mess of gimmicks and situations where someone just figured out a basic functionality of something and labeled it somehow. They are all inherently narrow, or completely broad except whoever found them first never thought of trying with anything but the most sinergistic class/race.

"Comat tricks" section just names tihngs oddly making it look like basic tihngs are called shots. Most of it just boils down to "use glyphs".

"Striker" sucks hard as a label.

There's no mention of "Big Bars" at all.

Looks better than it used to, otherwise, but there's problems still.
